Terms & Conditions
I (Client) agree to pay My Geeks to repair, analyze and troubleshoot my computer hardware at a rate of $99-$150 per hour (Residential) or $180 per hour (Commercial). Minimum charge is $50 (Residential) or $150 (Commerical). Time is billed to the nearest ¼ hour.
Although My Geeks will do its best to conduct all activities in a timely manner, I understand that troubleshooting issues is a time-consuming process and agree to pay My Geeks for troubleshooting time as necessary.
I also certify that I will indemnify and hold harmless My Geeks for any and all data or software that may be lost or erased, as well as for any consequence of the erasure or loss of that data or software.
Although My Geeks will take every precaution to preserve all data and software on the computer, I acknowledge that occasionally data loss will occur and/or software operation may be compromised.
I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless My Geeks for any and all hardware or software malfunctions or accidents that may occur before, during or after work is performed on Client’s computer, and for any results thereof.
I also certify that I will indemnify and hold harmless and will pay for added support to My Geeks for any software repairs necessary after a virus has been detected and removed off a computer. Viruses in a computer can cause many problems, and it is impossible to control what or how the virus affected the computer before our removal.
Items sold at retail price are backed by a thirty (30) day money back guarantee and a one (1) year repair or exchange guarantee except for software, media, printer ink, paper and consumable items. Discounted items (price matched, clearance, and open box) items are backed by fourteen (14) day refund or exchange. All items eligible for return or replacement must be returned unopened and in new condition. All open box items returned will be subject to a 15% restock fee. Damaged items or items missing original packaging or contents will be refused. Consumable items including software, paper, ink, media are exchange only if defective.
Our Guarantee Does Not Protect AgainstWe will COME to You! Besides PC repairs and support, we also handle other requests, like installation of printers, setup of Wi-Fi services, handling network issues, and more. .
After My Geeks repairs or replaces the device, the guarantee does not protect against:
Subsequent mishandling or misuse that causes the frame to bend, twist, or crack, and drops
Subsequent accidental or purposeful drops
Damage resulting from attempted customer repairs
Software issues unrelated to the repair
New damages unrelated to the original repair
Any loss of data occurring as a result of the repair – customers are advised to back up all data prior to repair attempt Virus reinfection
Damage caused by electric shortage or surge
Our guarantee also does not cover the outcome of a repair if certain pre-repair conditions exist, including:
Existence of known manufacturing and/or performance issues related to the device separate from the repair, as noted prior to the repair
Existence of damage to the frame of device, as noted prior to the repair
Tampering with internal hardware: under certain conditions, internal damage may make a repair impossible. My Geeks or repair specialist will be able to explain in further detail upon diagnosing your specific device. If in doubt, we recommend that you do not attempt to repair on your own, as any damage may affect the repair-ability of your device
Damage caused by electric shortage or surge

Repair Time and Delivery
My Geeks will make reasonable efforts to deliver repaired equipment within the estimated time of delivery, but does not guarantee that a repair will be completed within a specific period of time. My Geeks shall not be liable for any failures or delay in service due to any cause beyond its control. My Geeks reserves the right to refrain from providing the repairs or services ordered and instead refund customer’s payment at its sole discretion.
You recognize that My Geeks is an independent, third party repair company not affiliated with any original manufacturer. Like any repair provider outside the original manufacturer, My Geeks does not always have access to original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts.
You recognize that after any service is performed, the damaged parts that are replaced during service become property of My Geeks. Upon payment for any repair or service, you forfeit any claim on the damaged parts that were replaced during the repair or their value.
Responsibility to Pick Up Devices
If equipment is left with My Geeks and is not picked up within 30 days after being notified by My Geeks that your product has been serviced, My Geeks will consider your equipment abandoned and may dispose of your equipment in accordance with applicable law. You agree to hold My Geeks harmless for any damage or claim for the abandoned property (as stated in the signed work order every customer receives before the repair process is initiated), which we may discard or recycle at our sole discretion 30 days from customer being notified that your product has been serviced.
